This is a much larger than stock back up battery for the 200, 300, 500 watt models. This is the exact replacement for the 750, 1000 watt units. The battery drops into the front end of your cooler and has a plug that allows you to plug the big battery directly into the ECM (Electric Control Module) and you can also add your existing battery to the system by plugging into the splitter provided. The cord can go over the dividing wall but it is highly recommended that you cut a notch or make a hole in the wall so that the cord is not smashed or cut by the lid. By going over the dividing wall you may cause a fire or electrical short!!
